How many events can you create?
You can create an unlimited number of events.

Can you customize the registration forms?
Yes! You can create unlimited pricing models, unlimited discounts, and unlimited user-defined questions.

Can you customize the email confirmation and email reminder?
Yes! You can change them any time you want. You also have control to personalize them with the registrant's name and other info.

How do you share the registration information with other software?
You can export the essential registrant information (not credit card info) into a common format called CSV that you can use in other software such as Word and Excel to print labels, name badges, or do mailings.

Will Smooth Events work on any website?
Yes! You can use Smooth Events with a content management system website or a traditional website.

Is Smooth Events safe and secure?
Yes! Smooth Events uses the same security as banks and the military (128 bit SSL encryption). If your website does not have SSL then a visitor's browser will not show your website as being secure; however, the Smooth Events component of your website is completely secure. Even though Smooth Events is already secure, if you want a visitor's browser to show your website as being secure (some browsers show an image of a lock), you can install SSL on your website.

Are there other fees like merchant account fees, statement fees, and transaction fees?
You'll be amazed that there are no signup fees, no annual fees, no event activation fees, no extra fee for ongoing events, no additional fees to use your own merchant account. It is only $20 a month for the tools. The credit card processing fees are based on your agreement with your merchant account provider.

Can you use your own merchant account?
Smooth Events provides a simple way for you to plug in your merchant account. If you do not have a merchant account, you can get one anywhere you wish as long as it supports PayPalPro, Authorize.Net, Pivotal, Nova/Elevon, or Concord internet gateway interfaces. We also recommend a few options.

Is there a long-term contract?
No! You can cancel at any time and for events where you charged a registration fee and you closed the registration process; those funds will be deposited into your bank account.

How does the 30-day FREE Trial work?
For 30 days you have complete access to the full version. If you cancel your account within 30 days of signing up, you will not be charged anything. If you continue the account, billing will begin after the 30-Day free trial is over.

When are the funds deposited into your bank account?
The funds are deposited according to the terms you have with your merchant account provider (usually daily).

On how many websites can you setup Smooth Events?
You select a web address/domain name (i.e. www.yourorganization.org) for which Smooth Events is to be licensed. You may setup Smooth Events on as many pages at that web address as you want.

If you charge for an event, what credit cards does Smooth Events accept?
Your merchant account determines the credit/debit cards that are accepted. Typically Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are all accepted as well as many debit cards.

Will Smooth Events accept e-checks?
This feature has been requested by users and is being explored to see how much is involved in adding this feature; however, the current release of Smooth Events does not accept e-checks.

How long does it take to get on your website?
It only takes a few minutes to signup and get the snippet of code. The amount of time to create a page on your website and drop in the snippet of code depends on how fast you can make that happen on your website. If you use a
content management system then you should be able to do this in a few minutes. If you use a traditional website then this will depend on whether you know how to do it or whether you have to get someone else to do it, and when they are available.

How do you get support?
Support is community based. If you have a question, you post it on the Smooth Events forum and other Smooth Events users as well as Smooth Events forum monitors respond with an answer. When another Smooth Events user posts a question, if you know the answer, you can help them.

How do you get started?
Signup for SmoothEvents! Have a physical check handy so you know the account information to deposit your funds into. Enter your merchant account information. Drop the snippet of code into a page on your website. Add an event and start online registrations immediately.
